Beautiful reportage on the Four Days Marches of Nijmegen! We take our hats off to all walkers who take pride in their beautiful country Papua!

We (my daughter, a niece and myself) walked the Four Day Marches too. Day four we met participants of Kobe-Oser. This was a special meeting! Because the project we raised money for is also in Papua! We walked namely under the slogan: “Women walk 4 Wamena”.

Friends of ours emigrated four years ago, with their 5 kids, to Wamena, to support in the local clinic (Klinik Kalvari).

Under the name ‘ Papua United ‘ they also train local coaches. Buzz Maxey is the driving force and founder of Papua United. Along with him, they try to use their vision to shape to play football for the future of Papua. They also offer support to Neri and Yana who provide about five years 23 (!) street children in the age from 4 to 16 years. They hope to build a new House.

And thats where our foundation money is going to. We were very proud to raise € 1.215,00
